Led by CAMDA¡¯s chairman Zongbo Zhou, a 4-members delegation, together with AMSI chairman Peter Eason, technology manager Colin Donegan and business manager John Taylor paid a visit to Changzhi City on Nov. 5, 2009.
During the inspection, the delegation had an all-round view-exchange with leaders from Shanxi Provincial Bureau of Industrial Development, Administration of Coal Mine Safety and municipal government of Changzhi City over coal mine safety cooperation between China and Australia.
The delegation, based on the schedule, paid a field visit to Sanyuan Coal Industry Co, Ltd. Warm welcome and the hospitality were given to the delegation. A technical symposium was held with AMSI and CAMDA, who introduces to the attendees of Sanyuan Coal Industry Co, Ltd their advanced technology, managerial experience on coal mine safe production and comprehensive gas management and Australian mining histories and scenarios, in which Sanyuan Coal Industry Co, Ltd introduced to AMSI and CAMDA its gas management.
After the symposium, the delegation visited the Corporation¡¯s management and supporting facilities like Control Center, Training Center and Staff Center etc. Both parties will keep in touch and have further discussion on cooperation in the near future.
