On 7th May, 2008, a signing ceremony was held in Wuhai city, Inner Mongolia autonomic region by CAMDA and Shenhua Wuhai Coal and Coking Co., Ltd about the Tianrong coal mine gas drainage project.
This is the third cooperation between CAMDA and Shenhua group. Li Huaiguo, chairman of Tianrong mine of Shenhua Wuhai Coal and Coking Co., Ltd, Che Renfu, general manager, Yan Jianjun and Pan Yongqian, vice manager, Shan Pingjun, assistant chief engineer, Wang Liguo, general manager of Tianrong mine and relative department director of both parties, Peter Eason, chairman of Australia Ming Services International (AMSI), Colin, senior adviser of AMSI, Zhou Zongbo, chairman of CAMDA, Lin Jian, vice general manager of CAMDA, Zheng Yunlong, vice general manager, Pengyong, assistant manager, Zengyun, CFO of Valley Longwall, Anthony, general manager of Vally Longwall, Andrew Spring, senior driller took part in the signing ceremony.
Pan Yongqian, vice general manager of Tianrong mine, hosted the signing ceremony. Li Huaiguo and Peter Eason make a speech respectively on the signing ceremony. Li Huaiguo expressed his happiness concerning the start of the project and his own welcome to the CAMDA representatives to participate the ceremony. At the meeting Li Huaiguo stressed that he had firm belief in CAMDA which has strong technical strength and talented staff. He believed the project cooperation would be to the satisfaction of both parties and look forward to much wider technological exchange concerning the coal mining. Mr. Peter expressed that the reason the experts form Australia came to China from far is that they wanted to help China to manage the gas and based on experience of the previous project, we would not live up the expectations of Tianrong mine and would take our own advantage to contribute more to ensure safe mine production of Tianrong and surrounding around Tianrong.
