on April 16th, 2008, under the invitation of Inner Mongolia Alashan Economic Committee, Pengyong, assistant manager of CAMDA, Hu Lebao, project chief engineer, Zhulei, project department director, took part in the seminar concening mining approach and gas management.
Inner Mongolia Coal Mine Safety Supervising Bureau, leaders from Alashan Economic Committee, engineering technicians and mine owner from state-owned and private companies took part in this meeting.
At the meeting Wu Xueguang, branch director of Wuhai Supervising Branch Bureau of Inner Mogolia Coal Mine Safety Supervising Bureau, stressed the importance of this meeting and introduced the current situation about the whole Alashan mining and gas management.
Then Taixi Coal Group, Shenhua Wuhai Coal coking Tianrong company, Shenhua Group Pingxi colliery, Huangbaici Coal Mine made brief introduction of their experience. Pengyong, assistant manager of CAMDA made introduction of long-distance horizontal drilling technology applied in Baijigou project to the attendees. Hu Lebao, chief engineer of CAMDA made supplementary speech about the basic function of drilling and drilling process and the achievement gained in Baijigou.
The leaders of Inner Mongolia Coal Mine Safety Bureau expressed that they have long been concerned about the new gas drainage technology. Qinghua company, Taxi Coal Mine Group showed great interest after the report and asked for documents of the advanced drilling technology and hoped that they could visit our gas drainage site, Pengyong expressed welcome and also hoped that CAMDA would make our own contribution to the gas management of the whole Alashan Coal Mine because CAMDA is a professional company dealing with the gas management.
